I’ve never been a sweets person. I could turn down a cake, pass right by a box of donuts, and make a batch of cookies that would never get eaten. But since I’ve been pregnant, my number one craving, which I just now have realized, has been sweets. A little break from the Hershey’s with Almonds sitting in my refrigerator is my night cap of choice. I find myself pinning recipes for baked apple cinnamon donuts, craving funfetti cupcakes, and drooling over cookies every day.
I’ve been avoiding sweets (other than my Hershey’s night cap) to avoid all the extra sugar + pounds. But today I found a recipe for Brown Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chunk Cookies I might just need to try. I’ll let you know if their worth the risk of failing your glucose test once I’ve made them – and sent 90% of them to work with Jonathan, so I’m not too tempted.
