36 Weeks

36 Weeks Pregnant

Dress: Asos

How far along: 36 Weeks.

How big is baby: According to my midwife, he’s probably about 6 lbs today. And toward the small end of normal. But yay!

Total weight gain: +21lbs.

Maternity Clothes: Nothing new this week.

Sleep: Good, good, good. Maybe that means The Babe will be a good sleeper and I’ll sleep 12 hour nights when he’s here. HA.

Best moment of the week: Lots of great moments… Christmas parties, Christmas shopping, Christmassing in general…

Food Cravings: Cheeseburgers. Mum needs protein. Oh my goodness, and good Italian food. Fabulous pasta. Might just be because of all the Giuliana and Bill I’ve been watching lately.

Food Aversions: Nothing really…

Symptoms: Just generally uncomfortable. Which makes sense, seeing as though I have a 6 pound turkey and his entire home inside of me. And I’m emotional. But what’s new.

Movement: Well, The Baby is officially head down! Which is awesome. But that means I’ve got a nice little baby butt up in my ribs. And some elbow jabs in my sides. Still moving. It’s crazy how it feels now though – like there is a real human just wiggling around in there.

What I’m looking forward to: Christmas!

What I miss: Time. It’s speeding up, and there is a lot to do.

xoxo, Mallory

My m-i-l who birthed & raised 8 great kids told me that personalities in utero are similar to not. 12 days later I understand.

Susanna was half active, half chill. She stretches just like she did in utero & her sleep patterns are similar-ish.

She’d be crazy active & we’d ask her to noy hurt me. She’d shift. She responds to requests out of utero, too. 🙂

    Peaceful Journeys.

I say it every single freaking week. You are glowing and you are adorable. Plus, I love that dress. Please wear it post-baby because it’s the perfect amount of glitter and just looks so cute. Also, I have a feeling this babe is going to be a heartbreaker. Are you and Jon prepared for that? :]

He’s already a heartbreaker. He has STOLEN my heart. He’s going to be the sweetest little thing ever.

And I’m totally living in this dress every day when I don’t have a giant bowling ball under my skin. I love it.

You are beautiful! Babies getting reading to come into the real world. You just will start dropping by the end of the month and then the bathroom is going to be your favorite place in the whole house!! Can’t wait to meet him.
