16 Weeks


Note: It is currently 107 degrees outside my house. Don’t let the sweater and jeans fool you.

How far along: 16 Weeks.

How big is baby: 4-5 inches. An avocado!

Total weight gain: Well we’re back down to 0 lbs gained. I’m losing muscle mass. And it sucks. I definitely have a belly, just no extra weight!

Maternity Clothes: Hand me down shirt from Heidi Klum’s maternity line. And it’s making me think twice about maternity clothes… I kind of love it. (I’m actually wearing it in the photo.)

Sleep: Crazy dreams still, but lots o’ sleep. No issues.

Best moment of the week: Ditching the boxes and packing for the weekend and an impromptu trip to visit friends.

Food Cravings: All I wanted to eat for dinner the other night was chips and salsa. So I did. And popcorn!

Food Aversions: Broken record here, but beef and Asian food.

Symptoms: Still lots of stretching happening up in here. And now Baby is wiggling around on top of my bladder – which can be a little painful… and can lead to 3 trips to the bathroom in 15 minutes.

Movement: Wiggling, kicking, and punching all the time! This baby is going to be a breakdancer or a swimmer.

Gender: Still not having strong feelings one way or another.

What I’m looking forward to: Moving to the beach. Wednesday.

What I miss: Muscles.

    Your updates are wishing that there was a faster way to get pregnant than, you know, the traditional way. Which is fun. BUT C’MON. I WANT BABY.
